How do you "return" the angbao monies to the kids, in a way to prevent them from spending everything at one go when they are older or in young adulthood?

Could one use robos as a way to do dividend investing so as to drawdown each year for spending? Say if I invest a lump sum of $500k on robo and would then draw out $25k (5%) yearly for daily expenses. Any advice?

Curious to know, what are some ways that people go broke when trying to make it rich? I know some people get burned in the stock market ouch... Any other common ones?
