Go back to your investment objective. Understand your risk tolerance towards the higher risk investment.

For instance, most people always answer saying that they are comfortable with with losing 20% of their money in a high risk venture. However, when the market falls by 10% in a day, they panic.

Hence, the question is, how about you? High risk does not equate to high returns. Instead, it is all about proper portfolio management and to use the right strategy to achieve your goals.
