For speculative coins, I usually sell all/half of my holdings once I reach a 50%/100% profit, which is what I did for AVAX recently. I bought AVAX at an average price of $17, and I recently sold my initial invested amount at $47, and I am just letting my profits run now.

Take out enough to get back your capital and look for “undervalued” coins. Which typically mean Low market cap with high catalyst potential like a main net launch or some new use case.
You can use the total current market cap of the coin as a general rule of thumb.
