Would you all consider this as a good add on to AIA triple coverage? Already covered for hospitalisation/accident plan but worried that with high living cost in Singapore.. even if choy something happened and hospitalization costs is settled; may have to take a break from work to recover and during this time living expenses may be a stretch. What do you all think? Thanks in advance!

Look interesting. 100% payout. no need to bother which stage or which cancer. you will have certainty that if sh** happens, you will get exactly that amount.
As to whether to add or not, it really depends how much existing cover you have and how much you want to be covered. since you already know you want to take a break from work, a good guage is 70-100% of annual expenses x no. of years of break. but also do consider that there will be out of hospital expenses, rehab, medication, follow ups, which hospital plan may not cover.
hope this helps.βββ

Hi Charmaine,
I do think that it's a good add on to what you already have. Just to share that the recommended guideline for CI coverage is 5x you annual income, as from a medical stand point, if you are in the clear for 5 years you are considered clear of CI.
Also with the AIA triple coverage, it allows you to claim up to 300% of your sum assured within the specified term coverage right? And also multi-claim correct? If so I think it should be sufficient. But do note that for multi-claim policies, usually the 2nd and 3rd claim might not be as smooth as the first claim, so just something to take note of.
