How do I start investing? Or start to learn investing?

Where should I begin to start learning, any resources that you can recommend to me? Any tips and tricks that I should know? And what should I be doing about my finances even before I start investing?

As a fellow newbie, I would recommend you to read this: https://blog.seedly.sg/ultimate-personal-financ...

It's a comprehensive article that provided me quite a bit of knowledge to start investing!

For a more casual/general/quirky resource, you can refer to "The Woke Salaryman". They're probably my favourite content creator regarding investments. Their comics are easy to understand and interesting! https://thewokesalaryman.com/

As for myself, I started off by Dollar Cost Averaging (DCA) into the STI ETF, which basically means I invest a set amount of cash into the top 30 companies of Singapore every month. You can do this through FSMone's Regular Savings Plan (RSP)!

I've just recently ventured out into investing in the S&P 500 (top 500 companies of US) to further diversify my portfolio.

Take your time, read up, and don't rush into investing too fast without properly educating yourself a little first. Good luck and have fun!
