I'm currently studying part-time for a degree, and I know that there is a tax reduction for my scenario. However, how would I proceed to get the reduction and when would I need to do it?. Any specific documents I need to fill-in? Is a receipt that I had paid the school enough? Thank you.

When you do your e-filing, there is a place Course Relief that you can fill up the amount for tax relief. You do not need to submit the receipt but need to keep it for future audit if there is any.
Check with your school to confirm the fees is tax deductible.

You will need to e-file. Under the deduction area, look for course fees and enter the amount you paid for your part time study. You can claim up to $5,500 per year regardless of the number of courses, seminars or conferences you have attended.
Filing is actually simple. You just need to enter the amount and keep your receipt for future audit.
