How do I go about cancelling an inactivated new credit card?

OCBC has sent me 2 credit cards for me to try however after reading more about the cards, I don't think I will be able to hit the minimum spend to utilise the perks. I would like to cancel it. Do I have to activate the cards first before canceling it? How do I cancel credit cards?
