How do I earn the 5% cashback from the DBS UnionPay Platinum debit card?

I have this card but I am barely earning 1% cashback. How do I enjoy the 5% perk they say the card can offer? Anybody enjoyed the maximum cashback yet?

Hello there! I am not sure if you are aware that this card is skewed towards spending in Chinese Yuan. The reason why you are earning less than 1% is probably because you are on local spend. What you could probably do to earn 3% is to spend more online with SGD - however there is a terms and conditions to it.
