I made my CDP account quite a while back and did not use it. It has been tied to OCBC Securities ever since and I would like to now change it to DBS Vickers due to lower transactional fees. I know there is an option to change direct crediting service which means the designated bank account through SGX/CDP website. What about my trading account? Help appreciated, thanks.

When you open an account with vickers, ask your RM for the form to link vickers to CDP.
you can have multiple brokers linked to CDP, so there is no need to "change" in that sense.
myself have also both OCBC and vickers, serving different functions and strategies.
if you decided you don't want to have a particular brokerage anymore, you can write in to CDP or download a form to remove the link. i did that to a 3rd brokerage when I had enough of their nonsense.
hope this helps.βββ

Hi anon,
You may change your DCS through the "Apply for CDP services" form:
https://api2.sgx.com/sites/default/files/2019-0...
To link your trading account to your DBS Vickers, you'll need to use the "Apply/Revoke Account Linkage" form:
https://api2.sgx.com/sites/default/files/2019-0...
However, a CDP account can have multiple brokerage accounts linked to it, so there's no need to 'change' it from OCBC to DBS per-se.
Imagine if you accidentally forgot your password or locked yourself out of the Vickers account, you can still use your OCBC account to buy shares as a last resort.
