How can we justify working on a public holiday?

Becos now wfh, no reason unable to access emails and files.

previously during work in office, not only can I say I cannot access email (actually we can, but it was on a voluntary basis), everybody respect everyone's off days, weekends, holidays and leave. never did my superior call on my mobile once.

now everyone has access to email, work phone diverted to mobile phone, bosses, clients, prospects have been taking advantage. somemore no OT pay and have to own self pay for internet and mobile bills.

the day to go back work in office fully can't come soon enough for me.​​​
