How can I search whether a company or institute is indeed MAS licensed?

Someone tried to sell me a product and says they are MAS licensed and audited by a big 4. But they did not provide further information. Where can I check whether a company, institution, fund manager, or agent is indeed licensed by MAS?

You can go to MAS's FInancial Insitutition Directory to look up companies by activity/business type or by license type.
