Hi! Would you recommend Samsung or LG for TV? Thanks :) looking at OLED

Would definitely recommend avoiding LG as at least in Singapore they have the worst after sales support and do not honour warranties. Sure their tv's have good picture quality, but just take a look at online reviews for the actual companies in SG and you will see LG have an average review rating of 2.5 with many reports of poorly made products which have proven faulty well within warranty which LG never honours. Compared to Samsung with an average review rating of 4.5 in my opinion it makes for a very easy decision.

Best 2 brands already. both are good in my opinion and since they are already smart tvs they also connect to online. TV is just a screen... for me I will go for which one I like in terms of visuals and price.

My LG TV did not last long, less than 3 years.

Both LG and Ssamsung are among the world's leading manufacturers of OLED screens and both will give you excellent choices if you are buying a TV alone. But if you are going for an audio system with the TV, the samsung ecosystem offers more choices (arguably better) compared to the LG one. It also depends on your budget and what’s on offer as you might be able to get a really good deal on an LG TV on sale and pair it with a third party audio system which may be cheaper and still give a similar experience. The software for both brands are alright, but I would prefer Samsung software to LG if I had to pick.
