Hi there, in light of LIA making the changes to the CI definition on 26 Aug 2020, is there a cut off date before that to sign and settle all the contracts?

Or is it safe to say that I can just get back to my insurance agent with the relevant documents before 26 Aug and I will still be under the old definition for CI?

Hi Anon, these are just some of the cut off dates for the insurers I work with. Some have already moved to the new framework. So just take note.

Hey there!

Do note that some insurer have a cut off date to accept applications for the old definitions before 26th August. For example, AIA's last submission date for CI applications under old definitions will be on the 20th August.
