Hi Seedly Community, may I know if anyone reviewed Tiger Brokers versus Standard Chartered Priority versus IBKR before? I am looking at buying singapore and US shares + etf.

Which would be better in terms of fees?

Thanks!

Yes I agree with one of the commenters. Ibkr for US and tiger for SG (NO min charge now extended to 12 January 2022)

As a SC Priority customer you get no minimum commission fees on your trades. Commission is 0.18% for SGX and 0.20% for all other markets. However the foreign currency spread is quite horrible at 0.6-0.8%.

Tiger is currently the cheapest (percentage wise) for SGX at 0.08% with a no minimum commission promotion that lasts till the end of the year. Foreign currency spreads range from 0.2-0.4%. Alternatively, FSMOne offers a flat rate commission of $8.80.

TDA is the cheapest for US markets as they charge 0 commissions. However, they do not have access to any other markets.

IBKR is cheaper than SC and Tiger in most cases with generally low fees. If you're trading fairly large amounts, you'll save more by using IBKR, especially on foreign currency conversions where they provide you with access to live spot prices.

IBKR for US, tiger for SG (currently at $0 fee till end of 2021)...
