Bitcoin is high beta to stocks. Ethereum is high beta to Bitcoin. All other altcoins (read: shitcoins) are high beta to btc & eth.

Pls refer to past discussions about fed and how its signals (adding/removing liquidity + raising/lowering interest rates) have affected risk assets (i.e. stocks, crypto).

In a risk off environment, correlations trend to 1, and so if stocks experience recession like crash, you may want to close your eyes on your crypto portfolio if you havent already sold.
