Salaryman at some company

First of all, congratz.

Secondly, you do not have to worry as long as you remain driven and are willing to work hard to secure a job upon graduation.

HDB allows deferred income assessment for full-time students, so feel free to apply for a BTO. BTO takes time to complete too, so applying when you are still studying is good. The income assessment is deferred until key collection, so you must be working when the time comes.

However, before applying, ensure you can afford 5% of the flat balance (around $20,000 or less, depending on your unit). I had to cough that up as an undergrad because my and my husband's CPF were not enough to cover the entire 5%.

All the best!
