More information required pertaining to your medical condition in order to give you a better advise on what is expected.
Generally for healthcare insurance, the insurance company will either exclude or decline the case for pre-existing medical conditions.
Having mentioned that, we will need to dive deeper and understand the situation before we decide on the best actionable step, e.g. how to appeal if there is an exclusion.
Like you, I have a medical condition and this has been with me since birth. With this in mind, I spent considerable time to conduct comprehensive financial planning and to tap on alternative tools available to build my pillar of insurance.

Hi Anon,
I think what might happen is that your current condition might be excluded. However, there is no harm applying, cause after submitting the policy proposal, it will be under review and usually there are 3 outcomes, either they accept as standard life (normal), accept as sub-standard (exclude certain conditions) or reject.
In the event you are accepted as sub-standard, there will be a letter of acceptance that you will need to sign before we can go ahead with the policy.
Some other possible options or insurance.. wells, as Singaporeans we are covered under medishield life, where it covers our current conditions, however we are limited to being warded and a class B2/ C ward in the event of hospitalisation, just to note
