T bill is safer. HSBC EGA rate higher but you will have to understand TnC and know how to do.
I applied online on 1st Feb, got account number immediately, but there is minor hiccups on the way, so went to their branch. All in all early March all is ok.
Just a reminder if you have HSBC credit card before, better for you to go branch to set up.
Just FYI
HSBC has 2 promos.
1) EGA for 4.55% / 4.70% depends you are personal or premier compared to reference month
2) Everyday+ 1% on the previous month
For example, mine is Feb-May cycle, reference month will be Jan, so as long as you sms, you will earn 4.55% / 4.70% for the 4 month compared to reference month
For the 1%, 1st and 3rd month, for my case, Feb and Apr I will need to do 2K in and 5 x FAST out to fulfil. (I'm on personal)
For more can check out the HSBC webiste :)
