Is there any advice on what types of internship is good for the resume and my experience? (e.g. Banking or Marketing). Is there any course/skill that you would recommend me to learn during my holidays?

Hi there, I would definitely recommend getting some certification on the side. It has a lower commitment and you get to enjoy the holiday break. Perhaps you can chart what kind of employment you are keen on and perhaps use the time to connect with like-minded people or find mentors.

Hello, it depends on your current course of study and the kind of jobs you are interested in.
If the jobs you are interested in are very specialized, then it is not very useful to do a general internship. It won't set you apart from the other candidates.
Read the job descriptions of the roles that interest you, and from there you can determine what are the skills that employers are looking out for.
