Hello married couples! Can i know if it's compulsory for just married couples to give out ang baos for the 1st year? Can you share what did you do

Also, do you also only give out to those who are working adults or only give to those who are still schooling?

Agree - alot of times, it depends on your own family.

Ask your parents/in-laws because this differs between families as well, so just follow the tradition for the respective families. we got away the first year because of newborn/confinement

we give angbao to the singles (even if we are from the same generation), but some will feel paiseh and reject.

Try not to be so stressed about it!
