Hello! Im planning to invest into s&p500, about $1-2k monthly and have been googling to read up on etf that tracks s&p500. The more i read, the more choices I see & cant decide which to buy each month

Will greatly appreciate it if you could share your views which tracker shld I narrow down to, and why you pick it in yr selection to buy?

i have a few trackers shortlisted but feel that there's no point buying all of them since they serve same purpose to track s&p500 - so just buy into 1 will do? Is my understanding correct?

welcome recommendations of where $1-2k can be parked to purchase what stocks monthly. Thank you so much!

You need to see each of the ETF's expense ratio which will reduce your return.

It is great that you have planning to start investing.

With regards to recommendation on what stocks or ETFs to purchase monthly, maybe you can consider a few factors as everyone may have different financial situation and goals as you.

What is your risk appetite
What is your goal
What is your expectations by investing particularly in S&P, is it due to some comments or article that cause you to take interest
What is your understanding or knowledge in investing
Have you started learning financial instruments available
Have you considered reading books to increase your understanding in investing
Do you have an emergency funds
