Hello everyone! Am thinking to go for a full body check up this year (last one was at least 3 years ago). Female, early 30s, non smoker - are there any medical centre /type of check up you recommend?

Am slightly confused by so many selections available when I google about body check up.
Went for once before (complimentary by my company insurance) which was so basic, only taking of blood pressure, eye sight, height weight and simple blood test. Hence wondering what would the type of checks you deem important, so I can keep an eye for these checks and also around what price is it usually? Thanks :)

Guess everyone has their go-to medical provider/by insurer.

You could look at the public hospital screening package - look at what type of screening they provide e.g. https://www.ntfgh.com.sg/Our-Services/Pages/Hea... and what you feel you need.

E.g. if your parents/grandparents/close family are of risk of certain conditions, your body are showing certain signal/you have concerns - that area(s) should be included - this differs from ppl to ppl.

Blood, Urine, Faeces samples can reveal a lot about the body - feel free to Google/Youtube - too lengthy to write here, Biology.

Find one where you can speak to a doctor (reputable/reliable) who will read your diagnostic report and advise on what to do next. i.e. 1 appointment to run all the tests, another consultation.

Best get advise from your family doctor. s/he will have your history and be able to better recommend what is required. like which age groups should test for what cancer marker/bone density/kidney function/vitamin level/antigens etc etc

obviously the more comprehensive, the more expensive it is be. annual basic one is probably about $100. every 5 or 10 years i will go for more tests costs $200-$300. exclude xrays or other scans. that one doctor will refer to other radiologist.

hope this helps
