HDB BTO | Does HDB, in some special cases, grant EHG to some couples who have not accumulated 1 year of CPF monies?

Applied for the Dec 2019 BTO project with my girlfriend and managed to get a ballot. At the point of our application for BTO, we have accumulated about 4 months of CPF monies. Thus we applied with deferred income assessment and staggered payment.

With the COVID situation and our ballot number being the last few, by the time we are called to select our flat, we would have potentially accumulated 10 months of CPF. By then, r we able to switch to EHG grant? Very much want to pay the DP with CPF
