It is not the best ideal situation but it seems necessary because you have bills to pay. See if there are relevant skills that can be transferrable to what u want in your career and if need to, get the necessary qualification and skills through education and going for more relevant jobs.

It's not great but you can pick out skills and knowledge that you learnt in your contract jobs that may be applicable to what you wish to do permanently. When you look for your next contract job, maybe look for something a little more similar or with the company in the same industry at least? :)
