Has anyone intentionally taken a pay cut or a job with less responsibilities for better work-life balance? Did you regret it, or was it worth it? Please share your experiences.

I never regret it. Your priorities in life will change, and they change together with your career path. You cannot have the best of both world, so have something that fit your current needs.

I took a role with lower pay but much better work-life balance, and for me it was worth it because having more time and less stress improved my overall quality of life, even if it meant earning a little less.
