I am female 23 this year, is life insurance that important to buy now? I personally feel like i could wait for a few more years but my agent said that is better if i get it now especially when im young and the premium are much cheaper...

Hi hi! I have to agree with your agent as YOUTH IS MONEY! The younger you're protected, the cheaper it will be! It sets the foundation for yourself and allows you to have whole life coverage! Ultimately you wish to look into the CI coverage as different companies have different coverage and T&C.

I have actually bought this plan, or at least version II of it, when I was 31. People had been asking me to buy it since 27.
No one in my family has ever had cancer, so I took my own sweet time, until 30, when I had non-alcoholic fatty liver. Other companies like GE/Prudential either excluded me or gave me double loading, only AIA gave me on standard terms.
Given this context, you might think i'd recommend you get it asap. But i'm still fine and happy with what I have and the path I took.
Buy at your own pace, don't feel pressured to buy just to save money because you'll earn enough later to offset the difference.
Frankly, you don't save that much before 25 to 35. Oh but TRY AND BUY BEFORE 35, because that's when the premiums really start rising.
