Anyone has spouse who is totally bo chup with the investment? I monitor my spouse's portfolio, but it's a bit irritating/ma fan cos everytime must get the OTP from him. How do you guys/gals manage?
(Haha yes, in our household, it's a little atypical where the wife plans for the $$ and the hub gets headache when it comes to financial calculations)

Ther is another way to handle this.
You be the risk taker and he be the safer bet?
His investment will typically be in CPF to hit FRS. Share FD and t bills and SSB or bonds with him whichever works for him.
Yours will be in the higher risk vehicles in whatever you might be comfortable with like equities. Do remember to make sure CPF is your own backup plan.

Same here, and I understand that part on asking for OTP! How it works in our family is that I do the active trading (to increase income on top of salary) with my account. For long term investing (retirement etc), we do it separate accounts. This way I don't need to explain those 'temporary losses' that frequently, and lesser need for OTP.
