Guys, I really need advice on how to do some proper allocation for my assets. I am 25 this year. Lets say..I have 10,000 to invest. ?

A rule of thumb - have 25% in bonds. In that case, I will have 75% in equities. Is there a percentage which I have to allocate to reits etc.?

Hi, it depends on your own personal risk preference and investing type. If you are more geared towards income investing. More war funds can be allocated to REITS.

REITS will be under equities. U can treat REITS as local equities (if u r buying S REITS), then u decide how much local and global equities u want in yr portfolio, for example 50/50 or 40/60.
