What are the differences between the coverage for AXA shield plan A with riders compared to GE supremehealth P plus with riders?
GE has recently updated the premium rate and the total care for Elite P now cost as much as $600+ for 28yo (up from $300+). While AXA enhanced care only cost about $300 for the same age.
What would be the cause for such huge difference in the premium rates? Is it due to covid? Does AXA has a lesser coverage?
Also, is it possible for the premium rates to drop in the future?

Not sure about the situation now but when I did my research almost a year ago, their coverage is about the same (best to ask an insurance agent on each of the plan’s coverage and you should also think which part of the coverage is most important to you cos they do have slight diff if I recall correctly). I heard AXA is a pretty new player in the market but I went with AXA anyways as the premiums are cheaper and easier claiming process (don’t quote me for it cos I also heard it from my friends).
Not sure about why the difference in premiums but I actually haven’t heard of premiums falling...there may be a higher chance that premiums might increase further (below is one of the many articles that shares this view as well)?
