Is there a difference between registering on interactivebrokers.com vs interactivebrokers.com.sg? Which one do people use?
I plan to open an account but just wanted to check on this. Thanks!

Hi there!
There isn't really any difference. Either of the websites will direct you to a universal 'Create Account' page which requests your country of residency. The SG version of their website was a recent addition because of its new HQ in Singapore.
I personally have used IBKR services prior to their Singapore Office and really enjoyed the platform and the customer service! They are rather swiftly with their replies if you have any queries. On top of that, they have probably one of the cheapest transaction fee!
Hope this helps! Happy to answer any follow up questions regarding to IBKR.
EDIT: Their trading platform is universal, so you do not have to worry about which country server you are logged into.
