Always start off slow then graudally increase ur habits. for eg. cutting back on bubble tea, then the next week increase it to cutting back on eating out.. try not to go cold turkey on being frugal as it might back fire on u if u suddenly start too much n too fast.

You need to know the reason why you want to adopt a minimalist lifestyle. For some, it might be a torture to do so! Spending lesser / buy less stuff is definitely the first step?

Make a list of items you need from the supermarket before going to buy. Also, go after dinner when you are already full so you tend to buy less impulsive food choices. Also, go later at night near closing time so you have less time to shop and get in and out fast. There is shorter queue then too.
