For HDB resale, What does it mean by Seller doing contra?

Means seller is buying and selling their HDB at the same time.

So if u r just buying, it doesn't affect u, unless they request for extension from u, the buyer.

But if u r also selling and buying, then u r not able to do contra.

This allows seller to contra his concurrent resale HDB purchase using the sales proceeds and refunded CPF monies from his HDB sales.
