For distribution by Reits, what is the impact of distribution from capital?

Is there impact on the share price, value of the investment held or no. Of units held? How does it compare to distribution from income?

I am not an expert on this and of course there should be a longer term or immediate price drop, I have no empirical data on this, but find here a study on the topic:

Are there any administrative fees (i.e. management fees) or additional taxes that are applicable to REITs that would impact the distribution rate?

CDL Hospitality Trusts flags 60-70% fall in first-half distribution on COVID-19 impact. What should I do if I've invested in it? Should I sell now? And what do you make of the REIT market?

How much of an impact will the Fair Tenancy Framework have on Retail Reits and their DPUs if it is legislated? Is this a fair framework for Reits given Reits have their own debt risks to manage?

Understand that you work at MUST and therefore focus on US REITs. Assuming I'm able to withstand high risk and have enough capital, why would you recommend investing in US REITs over Singapore REITs?

With a small capital to begin with, should I use dollar cost averaging for a few individual REITs or should i just use dollar cost averaging for 1 REIT ETF?
