For an EC, I heard that I could remove my name after the 5 years MOP (so left my partner’s name). Then I could buy another property without the additional stamp duties. Is there such a thing for BTO?

If I’m an essential occupier buying a BTO with my partner (Main occupier), would I incur additional stamp duty when I buy another property?

You won’t incur additional stamp duty but beware that if you remove your name, the MOP of 5 years resets for your wife.
