Should I get the Citibank Rewards card? or the DBS Women's world card?

Apparently both have good perks for online and offline transaction and day to day use.

However, Citi Rewards excludes any expense related to travel such as air fare or hotel.

Hence, should I still get it?

Is there also other options? For rewards / miles? that can be used for day to day

I assume you're a fresh grad and just started work? If that's the case, I think you can look out for something suitable for your lifestyle.

Maybank Platinum Visa has a low minimum spend of $300 per month for 3.33% cashback rebate. It has no annual fee. There's a S$20 quarterly service fee which can be waived as long as the card is used once every 3 months.

UOB One Card is a good option if you're opening the One Account for salary crediting. Gives you higher interest to spend minimum $500 on the card + having your salary credited to the account. You also get $50 every 3 months if you spend min. $500 on the card.

Don't get a Women's Card. The marketing aimed at females make you spend more. Unless you are a big spender on fashion, beauty, spa treatments, avoid a Women's Card.

Here are 2 cards with high earn rate for both local and overseas spend, with the flexibility to switch between miles and cashback but beware that these cards also have high annual fees at $250++

DBS Vantage Visa

UOB PRVI Miles American Express / Mastercard / Visa

If I just started earning my first salary, I would opt for a card that help me to save on daily spend instead of one that promises too many luxury lifestyle perks, because it's very easy to overspend and get into debts. So be cautious and keep it simple!
