Final interviewer informed me that they will think about whether to hire me and yet informed me that HR will reach out to me in 2 weeks time.

This quite common.

I think it is just to give the company some time to figure out if they are hiring you or other candidates. It does not mean you are going to be hired. They can contact you within the 2 weeks and sometimes they wont even reach out to inform you if you are rejected. I understand that they are keeping their options open until the the selected candidate signs the contract, if not they may reach other to the next best candidate. Keep on searching until you hear back.
