Why doesn't Endowus allow ETFs such as VOO with an expense ratio of 0.03% and uses LionGlobal Infinity US 500 Stock Index Fund with much higher expense ratio even after the trailer rebate? Is there any hidden charges with Endowus or with the unit trusts?

Hi Anon,
US-listed ETFs like VOO, while having low total expense ratios, are subjected to estate tax duties in case the unit holder pass away. You also incur FX conversion costs when you transact in foreign dollars.
We transparently disclose all the charges that our clients incur. Hope this helps.
