Dollar Cost Averaging (DCA) or Buy the Dip (BTD)

I was curious enough to do a fun comparison between Dollar Cost Averaging (DCA) monthly to Buying the Dip (BTD).

In this video, I used the last 10 years data to compare

• SPY DCA Monthly vs BTD (10%)
• SPY DCA Monthly vs BTD (5%)
• ES3 DCA Monthly vs BTD (?%)
• ES3 DCA Monthly vs BTD (?%) with dividend reinvested

Some fun observations but definitely not conclusive since it only involves a single timeframe.
