Does Tiger Brokers auto convert funds transferred in SGD to USD if i were to purchase equities from NASDAQ or NYSE?

They do not perform autoconversion. If you have a cash account, they will not allow you to submit the order due to insufficient (USD) funds.

If you have a margin account, they may allow you to submit an order but you will be borrowing on margin and get charged interest, so be careful! Always make sure that you have sufficient funds in the correct currency before you submit an order.
