Hi!! It makes sense as it helps to provide disability income for the policyholder if unable to perform 3 out of 6 ADLs without enhancement. In fact, the earlier you upgrade, the cheaper it will be for your careshield. If you have looked into GE careshield, it provides a 300% initial payout with 1 out of 6 ADLs and monthly 50% monthly payout. This is the only plan in the market right now having such coverage.

Hey! we've seen many folks under 35 signing up for the supplementary schemes. For mostly 3 reasons, they are well covered by their integerated shield plans so they will not need to utilise medisave for large hospital bills, they are confident that they can also afford the rising ISP premiums. Second, they are aware of the longevity risks in Singapore and they just want to get protected at a really low cost. 3. The premiums are locked in at the the age of entry.
