Does anyone have a full hands on experience (from depositing, converting USD to SGD, and withdrawal) in TD Ameritrade ?
My account is only approved after 2 months (I opened saxo in 3 hours several years ago). Not transparent conversion fee, and I am concerned that when I deposit / withdraw, it will take days (at this point i am not surprised that it will take weeks). Any thoughts whether these worth pursuing just to save a few hundred bucks on commission ?

I could only withdraw in USD to DBS. no sgd option there. fee is 25 usd

The trick is to have a DBS multi currency account to recieved the USD coming back from TD Ameritrade. Then you have to send the USD to IBKR to do a cheap conversion to SGD. Then U send the sgd back to DBS. this roundabout save you a 1000 dollars per 100000 usd
