On one hand, you would already have X amount of chemistry with them, and when looking for business partners you definitely need some form of chemistry and trust. But on the other hand, there will definitely be disagreements and the potential for the business dynamics to affect your friendship(s)/relationship. What are YOUR thoughts? :)

Hi Rachelle,
Personally I feel that it's alright to start a business with friend(s) as long as the interests are aligned and all parties can get along well.
Also, there must have diversity in the business so the parties can leverage on one another's strength.
My own business (PolicyWoke) is one such live example.

It would be great to have 1 or at most 2 partners to help out with their own areas of expertise to contribute to the business. This will help to scale the business much quicker. Having said that, as the company grows money matters, strategic direction issues will make or break the business if not managed well. Therefore, be very sure who u choose as a partner. Your spouse will be the best partner IMO assuming both of you have the same wavelength and goals. My 5c advise.
