Definitely, in a fact a good transition pathway for companies seeking to move to a 4 day work week

Will need a worldwide implementation.

Imagine they increase 1-2 hours more per work day but reduce the number of work days. That is not really different from now as a lot of people are working more than standard 8 am - 5 pm now even for 5 days work week . It just make working hours into the evening official and means even longer hours per day.

There's reason companies are doing such "pilot" but never permanently implemented... media publicity...
