Been seeing a lot of news on 4 day work week lately after one Japanese restaurant introduced it. Do you all think it's feasible in Singapore?

Most companies that are more inward looking (Traditional mindset/culture) will have no incentive to enforce this. Unless this is something that government enforce OR introduce some kind of grants to help companies make that transition.

Depends on job nature and demand-supply.

If job nature is project-based, it could be possible to do 4 day work week. Possible also to squeeze 2 hrs into the 4 days 8hrs work too.

If job always short of manpower, long operating hours (12h-24h), front-facing/customer service/service industry, likely will cause additional cost to company. Effectively, by granting 4 day work week to existing workforce, they will need to hire more people i.e. higher cost.
