Do you have any unusual / superstitious habits when it comes to buying shares? How do you overcome these weird habits?

I do. I have a tendency to buy shares in round numbers without any cents. Like $2.00, $3.30, $7.40.
And it does cost me some good opportunities when I missed the "rounded" numbers.

I have the superstition that on the longterm the markets goes up, up, up, so I constantly buy more, ha ha (sorry)

so to your question:

no, me generally no. hoever: even as I do not believe in market timing, at the moment of buying online with a limit I often wait a few minutes to get a price a tick better than the current displayed one (when this is completely unnecessary). pure superstition ...
