Do you feel that the economy is doing well and you are prospering?

Channel News Asia just reported that more people in Singapore are having jobs, as employment growth was faster than expected in the third quarter of the year. I have a number of friends who have been laid off and having trouble finding another job so this piece of news comes as a surprise to me. I am wondering how many people here feel that the economy now is doing well and working well for them?
