My answer is a “yes, some do work”. I have signed up for many workshops and have found two strategies that are working for me and I have been using them for the past 4 years.
Some strategies out there may mention that it is possible to spot a trading opportunity within 10 minutes. For such strategies, I can say that it is possible however it takes lots of practice and time before reaching that kind of skill level and speed. In the beginning, as we are learning that 10 minute strategy, we may take 30 minutes, 1 hour or even more time to apply the strategy.
In my experience I find that different strategies work for different individuals, and we need to find those that works for ourselves. In my opinion, it is always better to first start with learning a strategy that trades for the longer term (e.g. trading by the year, months or days). It is because when we have managed to develop the patience and mindset for trading the longer term, and understanding the risks involved and being able to manage the risks, that we would most probably be able to understand how to manage our mindset and risks when moving into learning and using the shorter term types of trading strategies (e.g. 1 hour, 30 minutes, etc).
Hope this sharing helps 😊

Yes, some of the trading methods do work. Yet, there is no substitute for personal, hands-on experience which involves trading in the real world.
Secondly, it takes time to master those strategies which is where "practice makes perfect" as it is said.
These two factors are what seperates successful traders from gamblers.
