Not sure if this question has been asked before but I would like to know if it consequently means I as a consumer, pay more premiums if purchasing my plans through an insurance agent. This is based on an instance that I do not buy from different insurance companies, both the same. Cheers

Hi Anon,
Premiums are fixed, meaning if you purchase from an agent or you do go for direct purchase, there shouldn't be differences. Unless of course there might be added riders to the policy.
But I think meeting an agent face to face is better, cause there is someone whom you can talk to, and also above just getting advice, you get to discuss on what your needs are and if there are things you are not happy about, you can also highlight to them, and there are things that they can do on their part.βββ

Theoretically yes as no commission payable to agent. Depends on whether u want to hv peace of mind by paying a little bit more as the main objective of insurance is to buy for protection and free from any worries.
