Recently received an offer from a more reputable company with a 20-30% increment on my annual salary. However, it would be on a contract basis. Currently a FT employee in my current company. Would like to hear some thoughts on this?
Should I be valuing being a FT employee as compared to contract role?

Depends on the longer term prospects and current financial situation

Please always for longer term rather than short term salary hikes.
The offer you received from the reputable company with hike is futuristic career job matching your interests with longer term then you can consider that. If you are not happy with your current job and got bored or does not interest you much also you can consider switching. Try to negotiate for FT atleast after 1 year. If any of these is contradicting then please search for better offers again before switching.

Depends whether u got any financial commitments. also what benefits like insurance, annual leave the new company can offer u? the valuation of the total comp might even be lower than ur current. if u young and confident in ur abilities to convert to FT then go. reputable company good to have on CV jus know that u may be short-term wise financially handicapped
