Based on experience, it is important to make sure your dependent even know about it and know to claim it. If not, don't consider having money at too many places unless it is worthwhile or it end up as unclaimed monies.

If you already opt in for Dependent's Protection Scheme through CPF, there's really no need for this. The max benefit is only $8000 per family member.
